This album covers the action in Sparks NV, just outside Reno, April 9 - 14, 1989. The protest was one of the most confrontational and violent (by the local authorities) of all ADAPT actions, and the longest jail sentences were given by the local court. Our hunger strike in the end proved effective as we were released early, but not before several of us had been sent to the hospital or dumped out on the street. We were in with the general population as this was supposedly an accessible jail. A good part of the "With Liberty and Access for All" video was shot at this action.
