Chairman of the Board
Regional Transportation District
1600 Blake Street
Denver, CO 80202

Dear Byron:

I’m sure you’re well aware of my long standing belief in providing handicapped-accessible bus service for Denver. I’m well aware, and appreciate the fact, that RTD has done quite a bit over the years to provide and maintain regularly scheduled buses for the handicapped.

I now ask that you keep your good record in mind when considering bus purchases for inter-city transportation. The routes between Boulder, Longmont, Evergreen and Denver should be driven by buses that can carry all the constituents of RTD.

Sincerely,

Patricia Schroeder
Member of Congress
